I have a hard time figuring the Cheney motive. Weapons ?? Proliferation will happen no matter what. Oil ?? Oil price would be much less without all the war talk. Liberating Iraq ? I don't think Cheney sees himself in the role of Saviour. Vendetta ? Maybe Cheney wants all to know that no one defies the US and lives to enjoy it.
