But, neither the market nor history follows a linear projection. Discontinuous events in both can dramatically change their paths. Perhaps the misery doesn't need to continue. Sarmad, let me recommend a movie for you to watch - _The Untouchables_. It's a purely American allegory for how to deal with a regime of terror - and why. It'll also demonstrate - graphically - the level of concern each side has for avoiding collateral casualties. I currently think of Saddam Hussein as Al Capone with tanks, nukes, and nerve gas. - Mitch
