Certainly a lot to think about in that. Thank you so much for posting it to me. It will be very sad if he is right, and this is actually a clash of civilizations. For one thing, it will go on for a very long time (probably) and for another, Islam is very interesting, and beautiful in many ways, and the people who follow Islam are like us in so many ways (and as the article suggest, perhaps too much like us) it will be sad that one culture must be crushed, it would be better if there were a way to blend the two. But a democratic Westernized group of Islamic nations is hard to visualize.
