41? Are you sure you mean 41, Bush pere, not 43, Bush fils? Yep, the father and Baker. Baker tried to get elected at some point, couldn't make it, so the stories go. But Bush the father did. And since Baker always thought he was smarter, cooler, better media connected, yada yada, the envy color stuck out all over. He was also furious at, and this was no secret, having to drop the Secretary of State position to run, at the last minute, the father's campaign against Clinton. And Barbara, reputedly, was furious at Baker because she thought he did a half hearted job. Texas political gossip.
