the same thing happened to retirees in the 80s that were told to load up on gold in the 70s and held on too long... nothing new happens all the time. Gold from the 70s was actually worse because it had this "secure" image unlike the gogo image of tech investing so plenty of elderly went for it.

But statistically, the true horror stores are not great percentage-wise.
