GVT Well, I have seen them in shops here in Toronto. I have also seen AMD white box shops use games to test the difference between two different CPUs, machines set up and running the same game, one Athlon based, the other Pentium 3/4 based. Bench marks of various types are often used in a comparison between AMD/Intel. I would not expect a shop to use them if they are no making comparisons. In addition, mass merchants may not do as much of it, since it takes time and the salesstaff needs to know what they are doing.........few of that kind of sales staff these days.
