Herschel,

Any DELL follower will attest to the fact that the screams of price wars hurting DELL have been heard many many many years in a row....especially during back to school and holiday season. Hasn't hurt anyone but DELL's competitors. Look at dell's earnings last week; compare them to HPQ. Look where GTW is. Remember GTW's call for a price war (then they changed their mind, then changed again)? Remember CPQ saying they would not join in on the margin hurting game of inexpensive PC prices that DELL was playing, then they "revised" that strategy?

You mention DELL's P/E. So what. Read post by John Koligman. I don't want to over-analyze a company, I want to make money, and you're correct....I'm a DELLHEAD. I LOVE DELL. It's made me a truckload of cash in the long term, and over the past 3 years of DELL's relative stagnation, I've protected my long position and have used options on DELL to make even more money. DELL has been a PERFECT play in this regard, so go make yourself silly searching out other "compelling" investment candidates, I'm sticking with DELL (for now)

Cheers,
