Corporate strong-arming ... pension grabs ... hiking health insurance premiums out of sight ... downsizing ... outsourcing ... That's the name of the game these days. Got to bring in that 12% bottom-line boost every year. The problems are more ubiquitous than you probably realize. I'm not sure you're in the loop on a lot of this stuff. Hard work and smarts will get you only so far. If you really want to succeed in the corporate world, you need to be a cold-blooded asshole. That's requisite No. 1.
