How do you think that John Ashcroft would have handled the request to exclude TP? LOL!! He would have shot him! And quickly! The proponents were asked to present a case, to provide illustrations of the offensive content, and they didn't. The good stuff isn't that easy to find. I myself knew exactly what they were talking about; I've seen it. This is similar to the situation involving the "minister" posts on IHUB. Ask E or Poet about this. They KNEW they'd seen them, but they couldn't find them- -until IHUB improved its search engine. Then, viola! Autocracy: What of England? Germany? Most of Europe, for that matter, until fairly recently. There were kings and queens (autocrats) who were hated. And there are ones who appear to have been well liked. What, you don't think I would make a good benevolent despot? Off with your head! :-) I was comparing the results of this little flap with previous ones. So far, it has little to recommend. OTOH, maybe we'll get lucky and never have to go through one of these exercises again. Much my preference. And if we do, I'll let YOU run it! :-)
