I'm treating this as 1 point. Debate the one point without confusing with other independent points. Bottom-line, could AMD have been part of bapco? Did they apply...were they denied? Democracy..no..but if someone sells a strong point and no one is present to contest or suggest a different view then what would any team go with. I come in to a meeting with data that's critical to a decision ....maybe it's the data I want you to see and I don't offer the "other data" then if no one has the technical background OR vested interest in countering my view, then I'm sure the team would think my view is good.

I don't know what happened here and I don't speak for Intel but if you are a no show then tough...it was not important enough to you to be a member and impact outcome.

I see this Bapco thing as a team of semi-technical people trying to do the right thing based on the input that was available from all members. All members bought off on something based on the facts presented.
