Training with allies to fight wars in common is one thing, operations by a foreign power in our country is quite another ..... the idea of US troops pointing guns at canadians on our home soil - what would Brock think of that ... it's bizarre, EC, think about it ... never mind if they at first pretend to take orders from Ottawa ... permit me to remind you of an old song -

Oh Canada
we stand on guard for thee

We, not them - we ..... perhaps we have a manning shortage, well we did in '14 and '39 and fixed them rather quickly, didn't we .... we do need a stronger military imho, with preferably a large component of citizen militias, weekend soldiers, ready to go for anything and with jobs and lives while they're waiting ... we also need a department of defense with spine and contingency plans which reflect the fact that -
