Troops in Canada would be under Canadian command, obviously. No comparison to insurgency stuff like in Nicaragua. In that conflict you are either on one side or the other. But there is no predominance of wrongs or rights on either side on that one either. The RCMP have been cut in half in the last 6 years at airports. Used to be about 150 at Malton, now there are about 65 or so. RCMP cannot do it all. They just lounge about and chase taxis. They do squat about checking pasengers, nor do they patrol flights. The Arabs have 7 million Wahabis in the states. Tney are considered an extreme sect in the ME. In the ME killing across religious lines (Shiite-Sunni) for no other reason than they are across religious lines is not considered a crime by any Mullah. Of course they hang them, but so what? Extremists could field quite an army of saboteurs. It puts the germans during WWII to shame. They had barely 16,000 agents and the FBI rounded almost all of them up. When you talk countries like China or the ME groups, you could consider about 100K agents or more per side. And the ME forces may have hundreds of high risk or suicide agents. It is clear that we are ill-equipped intelligence wise or take down wise to handle them in many situations.
