Harmony Gold warrants

harmony.co.za

What are the terms of the Harmony warrants?
NASDAQ trading symbol : HGMCW | JSE trading symbol : HARW

On 22 June 2001, Harmony announced the successful completion of its specific issue of shares for cash programme following an extensive Roadshow in South Africa, North America, Europe and Australia. The company issued 23 550 000 new Harmony shares at an issue price of R43,00 per Harmony share and US$5.32 per ADR and 7 850 000 warrants, in multiples of three shares and one warrant. In terms of the issue, each warrant entitles the holder thereof to subscribe for one Harmony share on or before 29 June 2003.

The exercise or 'strike' price of the warrants, which are Rand denominated, is R43 or the US$ equivalent on the date of exercise. The warrants are not ‘forever’ but will expire on 29 June 2003.

Harmony warrants trade on NASDAQ under the symbol 'HGMCW' on a Bank of New York ADR sponsored programme. In South Africa the warrants trade on the JSE Securities Exchange under the symbol 'HARW'.

What are your thoughts on the warrant price? I do not not know much about warrants but have followed these since $6. I have traded the stock. They do not move together at times.
