It is flapjack that sighted this situation, not Tiger. And my point was not that it is the only case of such an injustice, it is that this single injustice is coloring his view of the whole corporate community. Examples of this type of thinking that I'm sure you would find offensive are:

I saw a black person committing a crime, therefore all black people are bad.

Middle eastern men blew up the WTC so all middle eastern men are bad.

I saw a corporate injustice done, so all corporations are bad.

All of those statements are ridiculous. I think it is weird that flapjack will work for such a company, but maybe he has to. I hate injustices as much or more than anybody, but I don't draw such sweeping conclusions from individual circumstances. I draw specific conclusions, like the company that flap works for is a bad one.

<<Washington State Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals in an attempt to force a self insured employer to pay for a cervical spinal fusion which was performed and did, in fact, improve my clients injury related condition. I can tell you from first hand experience that such conduct is widespread.>>

For every one legitamate case of an employee suffering a spine injury that is work related, there are 10 that are not related to work. Spinal fusions are very rarely necessary or even beneficial for work related spinal injuries. They are mainly performed to reduce instability associated with normal degenerative changes of the spine. You would have a legitimate claim against the tobacco industry however if your client is/was a smoker. Degenerative disc disease is highly correlated to smoking. Many surgeons will not even perform fusions unless the patient quits tobacco use.
