Geez AA, bite the poor guy's head off -- and mine too while you're at it, since I made the same mistaken reading of your post as did tippet.

The way it printed looked like this:

down/up-
SHARP/down

Falling as it does in the middle of a sentence, it's not exactly impossible that this sequence of words might be read incorrectly, particularly by those of us, (and I'd guess we constitute the majority, even on this thread), who are not yet well versed in Elliott.
