You, WhINer Smith, are just like the mongrel dog that resides next door. Never $hits in it's own yard. That mangy mutt always $hits in the neighbors' yards.

Better here than there, is my point of view. The Intel engineers will make their contribution to the requisite noise level someplace or other, regardless.

All other things being equal I'd say that your point-of-view would be at least worthy of consideration. Unfortunately for you, in this case, all other things are not equal. The moderated thread, and some of AMD's most ardent supporters seem to want to claim the "moral high ground." I have no problem with that. I am a strong believer in personal honor and cultivating a strong character. I admire those who strive toward that goal and seek to follow their example.

Unfortuately I don't many of the AMD supporters on this board living up to that ideal, or even chasing that ideal seriously. They come here with blatant prejudices based on school-age oversimplifications, and sound like nothing more than schoolchildren accusing one another of having "cooties."

You broadly, and negatively, characterize the engineers at Intel. On what data do you base those blanket assertions? Why based on your tone and behavior on this and other forums should you be considered superior? Frankly, I don't see it. I don't see any moral high ground for you to stand upon based on your posts here. Rather I see an individual who needs a good dose of maturity... not that you're alone in that need, and not that all of us don't revert from time to time... It does, however, make your attempt to maintain the moral high ground incredulous, at best...
