I had 4 Artesian springs on my duck club. I'd drain it down in the fall, plant in June and close the drain in August. Those 4 little springs would fill the 200 acres to about 4' deep by duck season. Not that big of a flow but they ran 24/7.

They've been having that brine incursion for several years in Florida.
