Steve, <Have tried Linux recently, or does the great satan forbid it?> Actually, we've been running our design and simulation tools on Linux for years now. MUCH, much cheaper than the old RISC workstations we used previously, and much better performing as well. But that's here at work. If you're talking about my home computer, the last time I tried was back in 1998 with Red Hat. The installation went smoothly, but I didn't know what to do with it afterwards. It's not like I needed to do anything on Linux that I couldn't do in Windows. Tenchusatsu
