Bill Clinton was a glib, seductive, serial abuser of language. Now THERE is a true image! And the rest of it is unfortunately true. I find it hard to believe he is stupid as is commonly claimed as a result of his "lack of ease with spontaneous, non-scripted communication ". But a poor public speaker, undoubtedly. He seems to do much better in private, so he would do much better having someone else speak for the WH (a common enough thing these days- -Nixon larger disappeared in the latter days of Watergate) and he should persuade world leaders in private meeting and phone calls, not TV or the press.
