And neither will they! It would be a violation of physics to do so without something to reduce interference from neighboring cells. At least without something approximating 15-30 MHz of spectrum. The only viable technology for such reduction of interference is smart antennae of any of a variety of flavors and Flarion/OFDM is not proposing anything terribly novel in this vein. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Bottom line - HDR is running into physical limits in b/Hz for an self-interference driven system. There are probably some possible improvements available but they sure as heck aren't a factor of 10.
