Wendell Goler is the White House correspondent for the Washington, D.C. bureau of FOX News. He is currently the only African-American White House correspondent of any of the major networks. He joined FOX News Channel at its launch in October 1996. While at FOX, Wendell has reported on everything from the Monica Lewinsky scandal to the recent shooting in front of the White House in February 2001. Wendell Goler has over 20 years of experience covering the White House. Before joining FOX, Goler was a White House correspondent for Associated Press Broadcast Services. Responsible for all radio and television network coverage of domestic and foreign presidential activities, Goler also anchored all presidential news conferences for the service.

A reporter for Washington, D.C. stations WJLA-TV and WRC-TV earlier in his career, Goler attended the University of Michigan and is a native of Detroit, Michigan.
