Choosing one person to be singled out for persecution is a gang activity, I don't know how you can cast it as anything else. Especially when people go on and on and on and on about why the person was chosen and WHY they deserve it. It was also clear that other people were singled out for not participating appropriately- and emailed, pm'ed, and called at home to be dressed down for their failure to comply.

That is not about debate- although there could and have been ad hominems involved. Of course CH isn't the only person who has been treated that way. He is simply one of the most recent.

What I know is that you think you know what you may or may not know, and I think I know what I may or may not know, and each of us are sure we know things which may or may not be true.

Life is like that.

For me, I am forward looking, not backward looking. I choose to dwell in the present and the future, not in the past. I feel sorry for people who are always dwelling in the past. But then, that's one of the features of conservative thinking. Which is part of why, after toying with conservativism for bit in my 40s, I realized it wasn't for me.
