Nice post. When were other occasions where the Dow had 5 down months in a row?

It's also interesting for one other reason - July 29 looked like exhaustion. A month later, we've gone nowhere.

A quick look at monthly closes tells me the Dow never had 5 straight down months from January 1930 to July 1932. Had four straight months twice, I think.
