Dan, I didn't say that I like the rule or support it. Just that it probably is a good thing over-all for the public. Two different issues. Want to know how I knew when the bubble was at it's peak? I walked down a row of cubicles where I was working at the time - a engineering firm developing Bluetooth technology - and every screen in that row was on a brokerage web site. Everybody was day-trading. I had to carefully schedule Friday meetings with one individual I called "margin man". You couldn't schedule a meeting that conflicted with his regular Friday trip to FedEx to send his margin check to his broker...
