I make no assumptions about what the people of Russia could or couldn't do to prevent the Bolsheviks from seizing power. All I said was that most Jews did not support the Bolsheviks: they were either indifferent or hostile. I also take no position on the "optimal potential" of the Revolution, except to say that it would have been preferable if the Bolsheviks had not hijacked it........
