Tim, I disagree.........the greatest support is for the position taken by the EPA. The maverick theories are just that.....maverick and don't have much support outside of the originator of the theory and his/her disciples.

All the theories are essentially maverick in that the amount of evidence required to solidly back up any of the theories really isn't there. Its become all about politics and less and less about waiting for solid science.

Tim, that's not true. The EPA has amassed huge amounts of data to back up its theories and interestingly enough, it wisely refuses to be definitive like some of the other sites. However, their evidence strongly suggests that global warming is becoming a serious problem. The politics arises from people who don't want to acknowledge global warming because it might put a crimp their future plans.

That's just like Americans acting surprised when they find out the world doesn't like us very much and blowing it off by saying the world is jealous of us. The truth is we don't want to have to look very closely at the issue because it might cause us to second guess our lifestyle and no one wants to have to do that.
