Anindo, Leapfrog (LE) broke out today. 1:10PM Leapfrog: recent IPO breaks out to new highs (LF) 18.90 +0.90: Leapfrog back on the new 52-wk high for second consecutive session. The developer of educational toys is a recent IPO. Company came public July 25 at $13 per share. The 9 mln share deal was led by Merrill and Solly. Knowledge Universe, which is controlled by Larry Ellison and Michael Milken, is a major backer of the company. Although the post-IPO quiet period expired Aug 19, does not appear that the underwriters have started coverage of the stock yet. No estimates available. (Note: stock trades extremely thin volume; just 40,000 shares today).
