The Gulf War never ended,

...it was just contained for a time.

Why is it the American public views the Gulf War as having ended? Is it because we received a formal surrender from Saddam hussein? Ask Abu Nidal if his word is worth anything.

Oops, I forgot, we can't ask Abu anything anymore can we?

That makes Abu a convenient scapegoat. Nothing better than a dead terrorist leader to point the finger at when everyone questions why certain facts come to light. Facts that do not whisper hints of Iraqi involvement in attacks within the US but do scream it loud and clear for all to hear and see.

September eleventh is the date the heartland of America awoke to the realization we were still at war.

"Hello Mr. giant, this is your wake up call sleepy head."
