"Vocally opposed" and "opposed" are two very different things to the Russians. They were "vocally opposed" to the Christmas bombing, while privately wishing the Nixon administration good luck, as their puppet in Hanoi had become too expensive and impossible to control...

You clearly don't have the first clue about international diplomacy, as I suspected... they have to be vocal about it in public, but behind closed doors, they want the U.S. to attack Iraq... you really don't have to go to sleep, you're already in a coma as you are right now...
