Why should other countries benefit from oil prices if US alone pay the price? We have sanctions on Iraq to prevent other countries (primarily France) from getting the profits of Iraqi oil. We are going to launch an unprovoked invasion of Iraq to secure that oil for ourselves. And you want France to pay us for taking the oil they had negotiated the rights to. You are the quintessential ugly American that gives the rest of us a bad rap around the world. Tom
