I think you need to anticipate that and that is why the UMTS Forums forecasts for subscriber take up (have been) are so conservative and back end loaded.

Say what? You mean they also turned into FUDSters?

As for Anritsu, very basic, rudimental functional testing. If you think testing is a 100 miles journey, this isn't half mile.

As you probably know, there is a big big difference between 'test suites' and actual compatibility testing. Test suites are a first step, but I guarantee that, especially in such a complex interface, it cannot(!!!) be anywhere near complete until true compatibility testing is performed. (I do work in similar, albeit simpler, interfaces for satellites - you always, always, always discover big OOPSes when you first do a compatibility test.)
