:-)
I have enough in 3d without problems from this place cropping up. If it gives me 3d problems it has to go. Then the only people here would be people who like those sorts of entanglements, people who do not care whether they happen or not, and people who did not realize what they were getting into. Could be a pretty combustive mix- as I suppose it is now, actually.

"BTW, one of the familiar aliases here once said to my alias, "Remember, I know how to serve papers on you." I found that really weird. It made me envision a cyber court somewhere, where the two aliases would meet with cyber lawyers there to represent them before a cyber judge"

Read what you just wrote. How ridiculous! Do you think you don't exist?!--LOL!!

Certainly, if one was to sue, they would serve papers under the legal name of the person rather than under an alternate name. For instance, if someone whom I had trusted were to give you personal information on me, and you used that to make harassing phone calls or to inveigle a damaging and illegal interest against my work or relationships, then I would serve you papers under the name with which you are registered on SI, and not under whatever pet names your wife might call you, or nicknames used by fishing buddies. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Do you think you are not real?!--LOL! Methinks, thou dost protest too much...<g>

Do yopu think if your wife robs a bank and screams that her name is Santa Maria that the prosecution will be frozen because she ingeniouslty used an alternate name. Don't be naive...<gg>!
