We have been growing it for 10 years, and you and I have been eating it for 6 years. Well, maybe you but not me when I can avoid it. We now buy non-gmo, organically grown corn in the freezer. So there. I fail to see why the Bush administration could not have sent just regular ol' corn. We no longer grow it. It is inferior. Someone was reported as saying our current stores are 30% gmo. The U.S. foreign aid chief Andrew Natsios, on Thursday called the "Greenpeace" and the "Friends of the Earth" environmental groups "revolting and despicable" for urging these African Governments not to accept this food. He was informed by these African Governments that these groups pressured them not to use this grain,even though it is in their warehouses, and people there are starving. There is no doubt these groups have done this. One of the stories going around is corn is coming from China. As for whether there is some large conspiracy on the part of Howell Raines who's reach must now exceed the NYTimes, to "spike" this story, that sounds a bit farfetched. But, as you say, and I lke it, twt.

The " they are revolting and despicable " when it comes to matters of import to The U.S. foreign aid chief Andrew Natsios, but some industries in Canada have been sounding the alarms of the corrupt - self perpetuating - money making machine called Greenpeace for years! They single handedly destroyed a traditional revenue generating marine harvest off Canada's East Coast that now sees the population of Seals there so great as to thwart any possible recovery of a devastated fishery.( Ironically they’re concerned with overfishing too <G>) Gullible Americans and Eurocans bought the story hook, line and sinker for decades.They used this perennial onslaught on East Coast Sealers as barbaric blood thirsty thugs killing poor little baby Seals,whose herds now number close to ten million, as they have no natural enemy other than starvation due to lack of fish left in the sea. Every year they make their annual fully expensed trip to the iceflows to get their footage of blood and guts against the crystal white background for maximum effect.They continue to tell the Gullible Americans and Eurocans of the great slaughter( where in reality it is all but non existent) to fill money jars on the sidewalks of cities where people have no clue to the reality and fraud being perpetrated. This is STILL one of the biggest cash cows for Greenpeace long after they’ve devastated the industry into virtually non-existence.Well done!Next?!
