Totally unnecessary....but good ;-) No, there hasn't been " clubbing of baby seals " in this country for decades, nor whaling and other such despicable behavior.It was that " baby seal thang " that racked up the big bucks for GP over the decades that allowed them to pursue " other well intentioned interests " such as you mention. And yes, the press is loath to expose them for what they have become, even after their founder quit in disgust of their growing political agendas and fraudulent behavior. Even after being exposed in this country editing video footage to produce completely false documentaries to fit their goals.Even after a number of the conscience ridden members quit and immediately sought out those who they attacked to offer sincere apologies for their disgusting behavior. It's become a dropout center for politically misdirected university undergrads wanting a free ticket to " see the world " I'm afraid. They strike out in search of HOTBUTTONS for maximum effect in order to keep the coffers filled with gullible money. I am no anti-environmentalist by any stretch , but someone or some venue is necessary to counter their racketeering ways.They won't let you take issue with them publicly on their web site, last time I tried, so they obviously have much to hide in the way of their direction and philosophy. They can be a menace if left unchecked. KC
