Re: because the applications and testing methodology has been changed to fit Bapco's idea of the most current usage model. Give it up. Manure stinks and P4 performance is awful. You can make up all the stories you want, the fact remains that it's not too hard for people to compare actual performance of the $150 Athlon 2200+ to the performance of the $250 P4 2600 on their own, real, applications. And the Athlon is as fast or faster. The newest $500+ P4 2800 may edge out the $150 Athlon 2200+ in some applications, but it can't hold a candle to the $300 Athlon 2600+
