I went to bed after posting and am going back to bed now. Why would I have to use an alias for penni? All penni did was answer the phone and have a heart-to-heart conversation with a friend. I didn't want her to go to ICQ and chat with you about me, though; that's true. I imagine that she and Poet talked about it too. I assume you also talked on ICQ to penni about this all. Penni assures me that it was not her conversation with me that she was talking about. Someone called her and wanted her to change her mind about something, but not about the CH/Poet thing. JLA won't say what is going on, so I have to believe penni isn't the callee you are talking about and I'm not the caller. It's hard for me to believe any conversation of penni's with Poet or you would be described in that way, but I'm sure by a large multiple, you talked about all this to penni, on ICQ, more than anyone else did. Why calls from friend to friend get characterized by you as "dressing down for failure to comply" I don't know; maybe there were those, too. I don't believe it the "dressing down for failure to comply" characterization, however. I believe it's yours, used to create a "gang" impression, and not penni's. I don't believe anything happened any different from the standard messaging people do on SI with people they like and respect and trust. I believe you talked to at least penni, and maybe other people, CH talked to people, and others did, by PM, em, ICQ or phone. That's SI. We talk Well, that's life, not just SI. I see I have nothing to apologize for. "Go after" named people or aliases? What the hell are you talking about? That is paranoid, and penni never said it; you did. I dare say you will want to drop this discussion. It's your only way to go, if you mischaracterized penni's conversations with people who respect her and like her and find her approachable; and you omitted your own ongoing conversations with her altogether from the picture, it looks like to me. I wonder if CH ever PM'd penni. Penni is approachable, and is respected. I think Laz and she have PM'd, though not em'd or phoned. Was that "a dressing down for failure to comply"? Even if you don't want to answer anything else, which I wouldn't, if I were you right now, please at least answer these questions: Have you ICQ'd with penni on the topic yourself. Why would penni require an "alias" for it to be told by me that I'd called her? You started this, btw, with your unsubstantiated assertions about the "dressing downs for failures to comply."

Penni got "a" phone call. That makes it mine. Your characterization of it was inaccurate, for reasons not difficult to understand. I'm sympathetic, actually.
