I am certainly not wrong about what you said. Perhaps a little more of your immense load of brain power could be used on remembering your own statements. But that would have the effect of contributing to insight about yourself. And I'm not worried about what your kids are doing right now. That's your job, girl.

X, I was embarrassed for the thread to read that anyone would sink low enough to question your role as a mother. That comment had no place in this venue. We all have personal lives that go far beyond our time on SI and we must do what is needed to ensure that those lives remain intact during our days of posting. I am sure that you do that. No one knows what you or anyone else does or doesn't do for their children. Some parents spend hours on the golf course, at the gym, reading, gardening etc....and some are present but just not listening to their kids. No one has a right to question another's time unless they are part of their daily lives. I, for one, apologize for that comment. Marie
