Eric Now this all leads to an interesting question and that is what exactly does QCT's revenue consist of.

Let's see, if we really believe what WR said, then that means with about 60 mil MSM sold and only 700 mil in Baseband then that means only a little 10 bucks per MSM? They gotta be kidding me.

Also think it this way, MSM is THE money maker for QCT, are you sure it is only about half the sale?

There is also systems software, development tools, and presumably some services.

Well if those can make up for over 600 mil sales then QCT will have a stunning margin compare to the other chip makers.

So the answer is,

WR is not getting its number right.

I would say DSP, ASIC or ASSP can provide a lot of fun for the term geeks, but in reality people will keep on mixing them up when talking about semiconductors.
