has the crb rallied in the same dollar time frame you mention?

as to housing, i'm starting to think where the pools of money have been, you see the greatest over pricing and per population. to me that would explain quite a bit. and also why it may be taking longer to burst. aside from the free money.

probably true, but considering that there is more economic activity in one Gotham burrough than in the entire midwest (yeah, yeah, an exageration) i don't see that as being particularly relevant.
