It's funny that you would bring up the subject of selective perception on this topic. I've always stated that Kuwait would be in favor of an attack on Iraq. I'd quote you posts I'd made to this effect but the search facility is broken.

The news that Kuwait is, after nearly a year, "breaking rank" and supporting an attack on Iraq, is an indication of how little support there is for going against Iraq. That you would interpret it otherwise is selective perception.

What you need is Saudi Arabia and Jordan "breaking rank".
