ALB - What growth do you expect to see over the next 12 months?

What kind of visibility? Same as other companies, better or worse?

Why $20? Why ont $10? at 90c/ tha well over 10 P/E and why should any company be worth over 10 P/E today more like 6-7 P/E.

6-7 x 90c = $6.30. There thats as good a value as your $20.

or the $25 target price put forward bysome bright analyst a few weeks ago.

And there are lots of things to worry about now. China may not make the 4m cdma sales that Sulpizio mentioned. 1X may not go well in Japan or Korea. PCS may not get 1X off the ground and launched. Lots of concerns, but maybe not as many as some other companies or for that matter any other companies.

ALB--I'm looking for earnings growth of 40 to 50 percent annually over the next two years, based on (1) strong growth in chip sales, (2) spectacular increase in royalties from expanding markets in India and China in particular, and (3) restatement of one-time charges for Pegaso, which was bought out by Telefonica Moviles. Some people may argue this is too optimistic, but I think it is on target, especially when one realizes that wireless Internet access, mainly by handsets and PDA's will be an increasingly popular alternative to ordinary desktop or laptop computers. Thus, the "second" computer for many people will not be an elaborate laptop but will be a phone with data access features or a PDS with wireless modem.

I have a hard time envisioning earnings and cashflow that support 60.

What do you see out there that I am missing?

The fact that QCOM is a monopoly with limted competition, and that monopolies (MSFT, CSCO, INTC) that have their big growth spurts still ahead of them (CDMA going to 100% of worldwide market over the next 3-8 years) general get premium multiples compared to their fundamentals.
