because when you have someone on ignore, and read through the posts, the replies to the ignored person say "ignored". And then, people cut and paste pieces of posts in their replies and I can see some are directed at me. Thats the only reason I know. It seems to me though, if you are posting to somebody for 3-6 mos, and they never reply... you are obviously on ignore... why not give up? That question is best directed to a psychiatrist I guess!
