In that the threat of Sadam, and loomning war sometimes politness gets forgoten, but it cannot be the reason to lose focus on the problem.

Hmmm..... We don't apologize properly to own Allies AND neighbors AND trading partners when we kill their youth with
"friendly fire",,.. then there was the Italian fisherman we bombed during the war in Kosovo.

Do you know how far away the Italian coast is from Serbia?!! Yes folks we the Americans dropped bombs into Italian fishing waters killing Italian fisherman during the war in Kosovo. I am not sure if we apologized for that or not. I sure did not hear of it and I look for these things.

Hmmm....gee could trivial insignificant details such as this be part of the reason we have problems getting allies in what might be a nuclear confrontation. I wonder if the Italians trust us after bombing their fisherman? The idea of using tactical nukes on Saddam has been suggested more than once at the White House and the American public for the first time in History (as far as I know ) finds this idea acceptable. I wonder how well the Italians trust us not to send nuclear fallout their way?

I think maybe before we point the finger at the Canadians and call them chickens maybe the U.S. should maybe do the right thing by the Italians and Canucks before we can be taken seriously as partners in War. Then again don't listen to me I'm wierd. I got this strange thing about putting the puck in the net instead of in the bee hive hairdo of the lady in the 20th row. Something about winning or something like that.
