I am willing to call the E episode something other than harassment, even though I perceived I was being harassed. I am willing to call it "uninvited and repeated contacts" and I certainly understand that it was brought on by E's emotional state. I am sure whatever CH did was brought on by HIS emotional state. And that whatever Poet perceived, it was what she perceived- I have always believed that people have a right to their perceptions. What they do NOT (imo) have a right to, is to have everyone else accept their perceptions, and treat them as accurate. Just my opinion. I think if we could all understand that, we could move forward. Almost all of us have done what we accuse other people here of doing, the difference is situational (and situational ethics has reared its head in this discussion) and the difference is also in degree (always a matter of perception and also a slippery slope). Not ALL of us, but almost all. Certainly all of the major combatants (imo). Of course that is just my perception.
