I agree that the financials are tough. As Art Cashin recently stated: Just when you think you found the key, they change the locks. As I posted on another thread, since FA isn't of much use in determining short-term market direction: Message 17943377 Nonetheless, since 8/31/00, 15 of my Big Boyz are positive for price performance (out of 73). Of these, 5 are financials. Frankly, I believe the weekly chart of WFC, another regional bank, is even more interesting from an e-wave perspective than BAC. Clearly, we will soon know the answer to this interesting question. Berney
