If the economy is so bad how come we dont hear anything about a 4 day work week? My neighbor who is a recruiter put 2 ERP consultants into cisco this last week on year long projects, the client bill rate (includes recruiter commission, not what the consultants get) is slightly over 100$/hr., and then, cisco doesn't like to 1099 anybody for fear of audit so they force the consultants through a w2 payment firm, which again raises their costs. I don't know what to make of things on the tech employment front. Salaries don't appear to be going down.... I don't know. L
