No doubt some editorialists knee-jerk in their responses to indictments against Muslims. It's possible too, that some wish to head off a community anti-Muslim backlash that could have adverse propaganda impacts in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world. To suggest militia types don't get an equal airing overlooks the sheer numbers of militia members vs. Islam adherents. And the full-court press provided by the US Congress in the Randy Weaver events.
