There is magnetic stainless and non magnetic. There is also magnetic silver and non magnetic. They mix silver with iron and it remains magnetic up to a certain percent.

There is also fradulent and non fraudulent jewerly. Caveat caveat.

Interestingly the Inca could make copper plated gold, which modern science thought was impossible. But the Inca statues were not hollow but only ten percent gold and the rest copper. The process was an acid bath removal of the copper from the surface. Quite tricky and only discovered very lately.

Have you heard anything about ABX and another large gold company in Africa being sued by a company down south for manipulating the POG, I just heard that, and according to them the POG should be somewhere around $ 700.00 without the manipulation.
