Canada's timber industry is worth 49 billion and 80% of that is exported. We are the largest cutter of wood in the world. Russia gearing up to 100 billion would hurt us. Baaa----aaa---a-d. It makes me think that the US planned this tarriff in order to buy more wood off Russia cheaper. A Russian would undercut his mother's funeral.

Bushie-wushie and Putin have been having some cozy tete a tetes lately and trade and development were big issues. We can see the conversation.

Putin: "look Tex, we is the big super powers, piss on that little maple leaf waver, with a bit of your money, our cheap economy would supply you with resources and energy for half the cost of those inconsequential beaver shaggers. After all what can those snow and ice farm boys do about except complain? We don't subsidize industry, we just don't pay the workers, and we have no free trade agreement to get in the way."

Dubya: "Makes sense to me, Putie, boyah, but then agin, anything does as long as you talk y'all slow there and put money in the sanwich. Here, have another side of texis beef off the barbie, and a lonestar vodka. A deal is a deal."

We is losing the car business too. Lost it effectively. GM is pulling back, down to one plant in Canada and Ford is cutting back, bought out and can move anytime. Maybe we should bid on Rambler.
