The BPChart for Naz showed: Bull% QQQ (Closing) ---- -------------- 8/20 56 25.19 8/21 59 25.75 Both Up 8/22 59 26.16 Caution: Price Up w/no Chg.BP 8/23 60 25.15 (Divergence Top) 8/26 59 25.25 (Divergence #2) 8/27 58 24.37 8/28 58 23.48 (Caution: Price weak with no change in BP But still ok because no 3-pt. reversal in bp) 8/29 52 23.79 Here we have a major divergence coupled with a major, 3-pt. divergence turnaround sell signal in the BP. Sell signal! 8/30 52 23.49 Today ? 22.63 When last I checked (Near 5% drop from 8/29) Careful attention would have gotten you out of Naz100 before today and/or placed a short QQQ. HT

Here is a chart of the BP% Naz100. Although technically and longer-term, it is still considered bullish(Bullish correction), if one compares the QQQ+BP% and treats both the same with respect to 3-pt reversals, in the shorter-term, they give fairly good buy and sell signals. Nothing perfect but certainly another confirmation signal at least. stockcharts.com It is also interesting to graph these two together in excel.

actually Dennis..i did very well on that rally and have every update to the troops to prove it<g>....but i lost about 50% of it using trailing stops here..today and friday.. but if your not IN the game then why bother<G>? as for P&F...it's still positive for today...let's see what happens tomorrow... i truly expected a pullback, but not to this extent right here.. i got stopped out of..BBH--OIH--IBM--ESV--CEPH--CCMP--SLB.. so all in all i went in too early again..damn!!! wonder if it's ants in my pants???
